Fire Purifies: The only way to truly end a zombie is with fire from a slayer's hands.

This allows them to kill the zombies in the spirit realm.

Astral Projection: Slayers can force their souls out of their bodies when they exhibit faith.

Of course, having a vision of them kissing might have some influence.
